I'm an experienced journalist, content editor, copywriter and blogger, originally from Australia and now based in Dubai. I specialise in travel and lifestyle, including the luxury market.
NCTJ-trained in London and a finalist in The Guardian International Development Journalism competition, I've worked for magazines and websites in London and Dubai, including Practical Parenting & Pregnancy, MadeForMums.com, World Traveller and AIR.
I write freelance travel and lifestyle features for publications such as South China Morning Post, The Telegraph (UK), Lonely Planet and Luxury Travel, and regularly team up with my husband Glen Pearson, who is a photographer.
Looking for content about Dubai? As a contributing editor of DXB City Expert, an 80-page monthly tourist guide for the Emirates Group, I have insider knowledge on everything from the best restaurants to the must-visit shops. I am the Dubai expert for The Telegraph and a regular contributor to Lonely Planet's online Dubai content, too.
I'm also a founding member of the International Copy Agency, a specialist agency set up by journalist Rowena Carr-Allinson to provide travel content for publications and corporate clients.
